First I recieved this earlier then expected. Second it was very easy to put togeher,the instructions say to place on the floor upside down that won't work because of the way the sides are designed, my suggestion is to put it together on a table or work horses that way the sides can hang off when the screws are being tightened, also the holes may appear like they do not line up but they will you just have to play with it and figure out which side each piece goes on (one thing to remember is that items that are sent unassembled have already been assembled at the manufacture to make sure that the item passes inspection, it is then disassembled for packaging and shipping to warehouses.)This bench is absolutly beautiful the cousion top is more of a goldish khaki color which works well for me and it also comes covered in a clear plastic which I left on because I have pets and dont want their hair on it, but I think that it can be removed but I suggest that it stay on to protect the fabric. I wasnt't disappoited with this item and I hope you won't be either.
