At first, I was skeptical: how good could an entry-level camera really be for the amateur? It's actually a pretty good camera. I put the camera through its paces and it does what professional reviewers claim. I first tested the macro-mode setting and I got fantastic close-up shots of things around the house. Next, shot in various modes, and the filter settings and I was blown away! Next, I went into a completely darkened room and shot with flash and the pictures came out perfectly. I even shot water from the shower-head and the camera captured the droplets. The movie-mode was impressive, though the size of the movies are rather huge. I love this camera and would purchase it again.

I've had this camera for over a week now and find that it is not a quality camera. For a 14MP camera, the shots in some modes are okay, but in others leave room for much improvement. Next time I will do extensive research before purchasing this over-priced camera. The movie-mode is noisy when used with sound, and there is no auto-steady that actually does anything useful. Not for an adult who wishes for great no-fuss shots. Give this to a teen for practicing.

The camera was a great price. It would be great if you also sold the SDHC card. Hope to make future purchases.

for the person who said they bought the camera and it didnt say it came without the card....Read again! is says (card not included). It's a great camera! clear crisp pictures!
