everything going digital now you must have a digital scanner for it to work so dont buy this one cause its not digital it will be a waste of your money it wont pick up nothing so beware how you use your money i had to trash my old scanner cause of the digital upgrade that they are doing now in most city

Uniden usually is one of the best company cb radios, and last for years. I returned mine, it was due to my location needs a very expensive antenna. The unit does not pull in tv channels, I had forgot that since the Goverment cut regular channals 3 years ago. It's okay if you enjoy radio and the weather channel. I was a very unhappy with the unit, needs to be marked down to at least a hundred bucks. Thanks Terry
