I dreaded having to shop for knives because a good kitchen knife can get kinda pricey. So when I found these knives on Seventh Avenue & Ginny's I decided to give them a try. At just $6.99 & $3.99 I wasn't sure how good the knife would be but I gave them a try. Well I can say that I just love these knives! They stay sharp & they work great & I am very happy with my purchase. I would buy them again. I highly recommend these knives!

this knife is excellent for cutting, chopping, slicing, carving, everything you could use a knife for it will do, with little effort on your part. it is already very sharp and ready to go to work. at this price, it could be sold out by now.

The full tang construction and high carbon steel is as should be expected in a kitchen knife. However, the handle material is such that it will become slippery when wet. Not the safest scenario when wielding a knife in a kitchen. The balance does bump it up half a star to 4.5 although not an option in the drop-down menu.

The very moment I opened it - I sliced the tip of my ring finger and had to get 3 stitches. The hospital bill was more than the knife! Still happy with the purchase.
