This unit is NOT as expected. I own other fireplaces and purchased this for my basement. DISAPPOINTED. I had to use construction adhesive and nailgun to get it to stay built. cam locks did NOT lock, dowels come loose even after gluing which they didnt supply. I want to return this item but i have glued and nailed all pieces and now i have to keep it. I will probably just throw out if i cant send back.

Wood was much nicer than expected. Has 2 switches, 1 for 750 and 1 for 1500 or you can have just the lights on. Blower seems a bit weak in circulating the heat around. No remote like most fireplaces have. Overall, I would say it is a pretty good deal and worth the money.
