These trunks are beautiful,but there is a problem with the biggest one. Where the hinges are, when you open the lid, the back edge of the trunk pulls apart. Seventh Ave. customer service was very nice and even shipped me a new one, but the second one was the same way. I think maybe the lid is too heavy and there needs to be some type of reinforcement there. The trunks are wood "products" so the screws (which are very small and probably also part of the problem)do not go into solid wood. As is, it will not last being opened more than a half dozen times at MOST. The two smaller ones do not have that problem. I am disappointed, as I wanted them for extra clothes storage, but it won't hold up to being opened that much. They are beautiful though and have a nice lining.
