just received this and it was damaged, packed that way. called customer service and was told I had to hold onto it for 30 days. I would not consider buying anything like this from them again if this is their return policy on small appliances. the supervisor told me that was the only coures of action while they "investigated" the situation. Don't buy from them.

First one came banged up in the package with a NOT banged up package. Replacement took forever to get here, and after one use, we went to get it out of the cabinet and the lid was shattered into a gazillion pieces for no reason. Not worth $5, much less what they are charging here.

I have used this slow cooker about 4 times now, so far it is not too bad. I think I would like it more if there were more controls on it. You only have low, High, than there is auto. What I am not too happy with is the disk on the base were you have your knob to turn your cooker on and off, the disk there is starting to wripple / bubble up. I don't know if over time it will get worse.
