States is waterproof. It died within 2 months, with rust forming on the bottom. Stopped holding a charge after 1st couple of weeks. Do not waste your money.

When I bought this I was worried because my daughter really wanted the clairsonic. Well she absolutely loves this item! She said this cleaning brush works better than her old clairsonic. So she is just so happy. She says that the bristles are medium, not to soft and not to stiff. She also says it makes her face feel clean. And her face has cleared up since Chirstmas, when I bought this gift. She said if anyone asks, it works great!
