Upon making the first pot of coffee, I was pleasantly surprised that it made an okay cup of coffee. I drink decaf, and I keep it at regular setting, with 10 scoops to 12 water. It comes out the way I like it. It keeps hot and ready for me, but I usually turn it off after an hour so not to scorch the coffee. The timer for auto-brewing hasn't worked from day one, that's why it earned only 3 stars, as others have the same problem.

I bought this because of the reviews on Amazon. It has a very nice look to it and the wife likes that. I'm not concerned with things like that, only what it can do--and that's not much. I used the exact same coffee in this maker and I get the same results as my old, mediocre maker. So, it'll do just fine.
