Bought this item to use at scout camping event and it served multi-purpose. Was used to warm water for hot cocoa and coffee in the morning and evenings, and to heat water for dishwashing after meals. Thinking about purchasing a second one to fry in so next year we can enjoy fries with our burgers and dogs in the woods.
