The headboard is ok and fairly easy to put together. I had been waiting and watching for the price of this to come down, but to no avail. It is not worth the price as the welds holding the scroll work and tabs is a sloppy mess. I fear the tabs that hold the shelf are going to snap off; then what? The globs of weld on the scroll work give it a slightly tacky look. Plus it wobbles but, what does one expect with items mass produced in China. Since it is already put together I will keep it but do not intend to recommend it.

I'm not a big fan or ordering from catalogs or the internet, since it's hard to see the quality of an item. This headboard is great. It's every bit as good or better looking in person than the picture shows. The only reason I rated it 4 stars instead of 5 was a slight quality issue with the welding on one of the pieces to screw the wood to. There was a "weld BB" over the hole so it had to be drilled out and re-threaded. My spouse is a welder so it wasn't a problem for me, but it may be for someone not in that field.

This product went together very easily. Perfect for extra storage and looks great. Very sturdy and heavy wood......Love it.

with limited room for a full size bed in small mobil home room, it looks so much nicer and more finished than just a bed with no headboard or footboard. I did sponge paint gold on the shelves.
