Gorgous item

Bought this for my son and daughter-in-law for Christmas because they were needing, at times, a little extra heat in the colder months. They absolutely love it!! Easy to assemble and beautiful appearance besides the actual reason for buying, which was the heat output. Would definitely recommend this fireplace, they could not be any happier with it!

NOT A GOOD BUY!!!

The pictured product is a much lighter wood color. The 'picture' is beautiful chestnut. The holes that were prepared for assembly WERE NOT ALL DONE RIGHT this made it difficult to put together. The product came with a spot damage on the top right in front!! Poorly made material. Picture is better than the product!!! TRUST ME:(

I like the fireplace. It looks good and does not look cheap. Nice addition. Relatively easy to assemble; however, plan on at least an hour. The metal cams used to fasten the pieces together are not very sturdy. If you apply too much pressure/torque, they break. I had to replace two.

Worth the trouble

The fireplace is beautiful and works really well. But... the assembly should have been quite simple except the manufacturer made mistakes: one of the front panels was missing the inset pieces to screw the hardware in (so I glued it together), also one of the doors had 2 handle holes (1 on each side) even tho there is only one handle per door, and the 1 door also had no cut outs for the hinges like it was supposed to (like the other door). It made the assembly much more difficult, luckily I have worked in construction and had the know-how and tools to do the job. Other than that... I really like it, it looks great.

Electric Fireplace

After putting our signature electric fireplace together we noticed it didn't turn out like the pic. One door is so curved it will never line up. The beautiful wood finish has been patched with wood filler in several areas. After taking so much time to assemble we decided just to keep the fireplace. We have been pleased with other purchases from Seventh Ave. but this time we have to say we were not happy with the quality of the product.

It doesn't look anything like the picture. I'm so upset and dissatisfied with the product. It took me hours to set it up, I didn't receive all the screws. I really want to send it back just can't be bothered.

worth the price

I looked at a lot of electrical fireplaces in stores etc and they were about 50 less than this, I didn't like them they looked too fake, or cheaply made well this one is prefect. Perfect height for my living room, I put it together in about 2 hours only because I was by myself and kids were running around I did have a slight problem with the doors. I received two of the same doors well I emailed seventh avenue and my problem was solved I received my correct door two weeks later, put it together and now everything is perfect. Looks expensive.

I had been wanting to purchase an electric fireplace for quite some time. After looking, and looking, I saw this one and figured that if it was half as pretty as the picture, I knew I would love it. Well, anyone thinking about purchasing an electric fireplace should purchase this one. It looks more expensive than what I paid and the it heats my room 9 degrees warmer if I have it on 1500 watts. Needless to say, I leave it on 750 watts which is a perfect temperature. It warms my living & dining rooms. I never expected it to warm both rooms. This is very well made for the price. Everyone that sees it loves it and thinks it's real. I only wish it came with a remote. That being the only flaw, I still rated this 5 stars because the remote is not as important as the appearance and how it works.
