Typical Chinese Junk
Reviewer: Joe Berry, Lafayette, La

Fit and finish is poor, as with all Chinese manufacturing--why are they so pervasive but not manufaturing cars or planes? Because their attention to detail, as here, is poor. This product arrived with the finish scratched and excess stain dribbled on it. It is sold in 30 pieces, which is a monumental assembly task. The assembled product is a fair example of a desk--the fit is poorly engineered and the drawers stick while there are also gaps in the assembly where the wood should meet snugly. The drawer hardware does not fit--you'll have to buy your own. China and Seventh Avenue have a long way to go toward claiming quality. Junk.
