Product Details
Kids can dig and build for hours on end while staying well-protected from the sun. Bench seats (44-lb. capacity each) fold down to protect sand when playtime is done. Solid wood with fabric shade (that lowers to sit on top of closed sandbox); both are water resistant. Assembly required. Holds up to 300 lbs. of sand (not included). 56" l x 47" w x 47" h.

Not as expected
I bought this last summer and wanted to wait to post a review when I had real world answers. It was fairly easy to put together, if a little time consuming.
The sun shade did not last one summer before it was completely faded and coming apart. I went to Lowes and bought a UV resistant tarp, cut it to size and replaced the shade. The screws holding the board on one of the back supports snapped off and had to be replaced. I like being able to close it up to keep any stray animals out - that's a nice feature.
The wood is not weather treated and is already showing signs that I'll have to do something before this summer to make it last. Overall - it's a nice sandbox if a little overpriced for what it is.
