Ratings & Reviews

Roku Express Streaming Stick is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 13.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from No problems after 2 years! Love it!! I bought two of these about 2 years ago. One for my living room and one for bedroom I use it constantly and after 2 years theyre still working great. The remote is simple to use and has volume buttons as welle as rewind and ff and pause. It takes you to the home screen to decide which channel you will use. The only strange t hing that happened is on several occasions the tv would put a message on screen saying roku stick is overheating. just for safety i took out the stick which was hot and let it cool down and no problems. its very rate but time to time tv displays this message. i have my tv on 24-7. sooo. I love the Roku express streaming stick and highly recommend it. i gave one of mine to my grandson and im about to buy another one today.

What is the difference between Roku premiere and Roku express?

Asked by: Angie
Hi Angie, “In line” usually refers to the literal to “in the middle of the line/cord” but this item/remote is wireless. In that sense, yes, the Roku unit itself does need to be plugged into power (included power adapter via micro USB) and separately needs to be plugged into your TV via HDMI. Many modern TVs do also have a USB port which can be used to “power” the device. We hope this information is helpful.
