When I was a child, I loved my light bright. This up to date light board has fun lights that flash, you can draw pictures from a printed card or make your own design. I love the show every time my daughter creates a masterpiece.

These are glowing markers when they run dry where would I purchase them? I checked Walmart and and Target as I was there anyway and they don't have them. I would like to know before purchasing the light board for my kids for glow in the dark markers.
I know Amazon has neon markers, but I just went to the dollar store and got cheap dry erase markers for my granddaughter ... she leaves the caps off a lot. She gets the effect from the lights around the frame, so she is happy.

What kind of markers can I use? Are chalk board markers that are erasable something I can also use on board?
We have used dry erasers from several sources with no problems. The one issue we did have was with the eraser ... it is not sufficient. Just get a better one and there should be no problem. My granddaughter finds the bigger eraser much easier use. She still uses the board, but we have made some additional cards for the shapes, alphabet and numbers so she can practice tracing in preparation for doing it independently. One tip ... to bring out the creative expression that is within us all ... remember two things 1) it is okay to erase and 2) can you make something new from that mistake? Yesterday Danika made a line when she started that was not intended. I asked her what she could make from that, eyes, she said. I thought stick figure, she made a smiley face. Be creative nd enjoy the process! Good luck...
