Almost perfect
I received my lamp today in great condition. I assembled it and when I turned on the light, it failed. I spent over an hour determining the problem. The bulb worked in other lamps. I took apart the switch (which is the next most likely point of failure), yet it still didn't work. Finally, I took a good look inside the socket and saw that the metal which makes contact with the bulb was very poorly designed. After much careful manipulation of the metal contacts, I screwed in the bulb and it finally worked. The lamp is very nice looking and I would have given it five stars if it hadn't been so much trouble to get it working! Someone else may have had to go to the expense of returning it.

Love the lamo. 3 twists and together. Love the foot pedal. Usually higher quality lamps have. Nicely weighted base for tipping. Nice detailing with just the right amont iof light.
