Very nice smoker
We bought this as a Christmas gift to ourselves. We love it!
We have smoked whole chickens, chicken thighs and drumsticks, pork ribs, Italian sausage, and other sausages. Everything turned out perfect.
The 1-1/2" thick pork chops we left on for 2 hours, we think 1 hour would have been plenty.
I do not understand what others are complaining about.

The temp doesnt go over 225
Same complaint as some of the other reviews, that this item doesn't get over 225 degrees and its been on nearly 2 hrs. For the reviewer who said "it's a smoker not an oven", well, I smoke food on my charcoal weber and it is usually 250, not 200. Also, if the description indicates that it gets to 350, then it should get to that, period. One thing I did notice is that it is hotter at the bottom than the top, and we feel that the thermometer positioned at the top is not reading accurately. We are going to buy an oven thermometer for it this way we can be sure of what temp we are smoking at. Also a little overpriced.

These reviews
These reviews are saying it don't get over 250 degrees. Tf, it's a smoker not an oven. How hot are y'all trying to smoke your meat anyways?

Won’t go over 200 degrees
We were so excited to use this smoker but a brisket that should’ve taken 2 hours took over 12 because it won’t heat up past 200 :(

Can it be used indoors?
Hi,
You should NEVER consider using an electric smoker inside your house or any building. The Pit Boss Electric Smoker is designed to work outdoors. A traditional electric smoker when being used in a building or a house may cause health problems for people who live inside. In theory, you can use a traditional one indoors if the air was well-ventilated, but we still don’t recommend you do this.
